A Higher Standard of Sober Living in Dallas

Structured, supportive housing designed for women committed to long-term recovery, stability, and growth.

Our Mission

First Step Sober Living was created to provide individuals in recovery with more than just housing. Our mission is to offer a clean, stable, and dignified home environment where residents can focus on rebuilding their lives with structure, accountability, and community support.

We believe recovery is a journey best supported by a strong foundation and a positive environment.

Our goal is to empower residents with the tools, guidance, and encouragement needed for long-term success.

Our Philosophy

We believe recovery is strengthened by the right environment. A well-run sober living home should provide safety, consistency, and a sense of pride. Our approach combines quality housing with clear standards and a community-centered culture.

We are committed to creating a space where individuals feel secure, supported, and motivated to move forward.
By maintaining high standards and a structured environment, we help residents stay focused on their recovery goals.

Our Story

First Step Sober Living was created from a shared belief: that the right environment—and the right people—can change the course of someone’s life.

Alex and Holly’s story is what brought this vision to life. They met while Holly was living in sober living during her own recovery journey—an experience that would go on to shape both of their perspectives in a lasting way. What began as a connection in that environment became something deeply meaningful, and it gave them both firsthand insight into how powerful the right recovery setting can be.

Through that experience, they saw that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in a structured, supportive community where people are held accountable, encouraged to grow, and surrounded by others on the same path.

For Holly, recovery is deeply personal. Having lived it herself, she understands the challenges, fears, and victories that come with rebuilding a life. Her experience drives her commitment to creating a home where women feel truly seen, supported, and empowered.

For Alex, seeing that journey up close reinforced how important it is to provide not just housing, but a high-quality, stable environment where real progress can happen.

Together, they built First Step Sober Living to be more than just a place to stay. It’s a home grounded in structure, respect, and genuine care—where women can build stability, develop healthy habits, and take meaningful steps toward long-term recovery.

At its core, First Step reflects the kind of environment they would want for someone they love: safe, consistent, and built for real, lasting change.
